In Episode 15, I speak with Conner Habib again (check out our previous discussion too), who is an educator and sex workers' rights advocate. Conner is one of those rare people who sees things from multiple, unique and colourful perspectives, and relentlessly asks us to think hard about "What If We Win?!"
We have a nice long conversation about what it means to have a creative vision of what we want as activists in the world - what we want to see happen beyond just 'resistance' - what kind of society we want to help create.
We share some laughs, and consider how to rethink, and possibly reconcile with, people who may have messed things up along the way to the Era of Trump, but who may now be waking up to how things are and have been.
Conner and I also have fun exploring possibilities for a different socioeconomic future, and discussing things like sexual liberation, how to rethink spaces for housing and agriculture, what political activists can get from spiritual practices, and even how to talk to animals, trees, and rocks!
